Sharing Settings & Cookie Preferences

Granular control over what data is collected and shared while you use this site.

Your Preferences

Your current settings

By default, we only set the cookies that are strictly necessary for the site to work. Everything else — analytics, marketing — is off until you choose to turn it on. Use the toggles below to set your preferences. Changes apply immediately and are remembered on this browser for 12 months, after which we'll ask you again.
Strictly Necessary

Required for the site to function. These cookies remember your language preference (EN/FR/AR) and your cookie consent choices. They cannot be disabled without breaking the site.

nal_lang — stores your language preference (1 year) nal_consent — stores your cookie consent choices (1 year) nal_session — temporary session cookie (deleted when you close the browser)
Analytics

Helps us understand which pages are most useful, where visitors come from, and how to improve the site. Data is aggregated and not used for advertising. We use Google Analytics 4 with IP-anonymisation enabled.

_ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics 4 (13 months) _gid — Google Analytics (24 hours)
Marketing

Used to measure the effectiveness of any advertising campaigns and to show relevant content. NAL does not currently run paid advertising campaigns; this category is included for future-readiness only. If we enable any marketing cookies in the future, this section will list them explicitly and you will be re-prompted to consent.

None at present.
Transparency

What this means for your data

Turning on Analytics means Google Analytics 4 receives a hashed identifier, your IP address (anonymised to the country level), and information about which pages you visit and for how long. We do not share this data with advertisers. We do not match it to your name, email, or any clinical information. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
